Hi, I’m Annelise.

I grew up around homes, lots of them and I don’t mean my own. My parents have been working together as a real estate team since I was born and ever since I can remember I would walk around their “open houses” and admire the creative ways in which their clients would use their spaces. While their passion is helping clients buy or sell their homes, mine has always been interiors.

A smart person once said “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Well, I didn’t follow that advice, right away at least (it was Mark Twain by the way).

I started working at a start-up in digital marketing right out of college and then moved on to a large technology company. It’s through these experiences, that I realized that I crave creativity and my love for design was not just for websites or banner ads. While honing my “corporate” skills by day, at night I worked hard to follow my dreams of architecture, paint colors and fabric swatches.

Working with clients who are moving into a new home, changing a room for a new purpose, preparing to sell, or who just want to spruce up an existing room is my passion.

Many clients always ask me my design style and I am honest when I say I don’t have one— or I have many. Part of this is due to my background and knowledge in real estate through the family business. I believe that the home construction, period and style lends itself to the interior — and of course, the client’s overall aesthetic.
